Welcome to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church

"Truth and Love in Christ"

Thank you for visiting Good Shepherd Lutheran Church's web site. Our church exists to extend Christ's saving love to all people. We actively seek to know the Lord and grow in our personal relationship with our Savior through: Sunday morning worship, Sunday School, Adult Bible studies, family ministries, and many other activities. We warmly invite you to worship with us and join us for any of these activities. Come and grow in Christ-with friends who care.

May God bless you always.

--> Sunday Service 10:00 AM

Sunday School/Adult Bible Class 9:00 AM

On Sunday, January 4th, the post-service fellowship time, coffee hour, or whatever it's called, will be held in the parsonage, next to the church. Take advantage of this opportunity to socialze with other members, see the completed renovation work that has been done on the house, and silently critique Pastor's Christmas decorations.

Church Council News

As indicated on the claendar for February, there will be a voters' meeting on Sunday the 22nd. At the meeting we will be holding elections for several council positions (to be announced several Sundays preceeding the meeting) and will be voting to approve our annual budget.

Please check the list of needed cleaning supplies that is on the bulleting board in the Narthex. Doug Svolos can provide further details on the number of particular items that are needed.

Also, we'd like to thank the congregation memebers wo came out on January 17th to help spread the playground rubber mulch. Along with the Westpy family from Little Promises, we made relatively quick work in dispatching the pile over the surface of the playground.

Right now the council is in the process of obtaining quotes to replace the parsonage roof and the flat roof over the hallway wing of the church. And later this spring we will be planning a cleaning day for the parish hall basement, the corner garage, and the furnace room.
