Lutheran Women's Missionary League - LWML (www.lwml.org)

Mission Statement

The mission of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League is to assist each woman of The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

“Rock! Rest on Christ the King” from Psalm 31:1-3: “Secure in Jesus my rock and fortress, I step out in faith to declare His praise and serve others.”

Our LWML will be coordinating a very unique outing on March 21, 2015. We will be visiting the Lakota Wolf Preserve in Columbia, New Jersey, and would like all to join us. This edcuational "Wolf Watch" tour includes a 90 minute presentation about the social structure of wolf packs, what they like to eat, and their interaction with humans. In the observatory we will be able to watch them play, and maybe even hear them howel. Foxes and bobcats also live at the Preesrve and we can observe them too.

We are bringing this information to you in January because we need to make reservations well before March 21st. We hope to have a good-sized group, which requires an advance reservation. The tour will be scheduled for 10:30a.m. on March 21, 2015 and registration begins one half hour before the tour starts.

The cost is $15.00 for adults and $7.00 for children up to 11 years of age, plus tax. They do not accept credit cards and take only checks or cash. Waivers will also have to be signed.

Reminder flyers will be put into the bulletins and a signup sheet psoted in the Narthex, so as soon as you know that you and your family would like to join us please sign up. If you have any questions see either Sandie Beatty or Sunny Ruemler.
